1. What is lenso.ai?
Lenso.ai is a platform specializing in reverse image search. Thanks to advanced AI technology implemented on lenso.ai, you can easily start a face search or look for places, duplicates, related or similar images.
2. How does lenso.ai work?
Lenso.ai uses complex algorithms in order to match the image uploaded by the user to the pictures that are already in the index. Thanks to the usage of AI-powered technology, lenso is able to match different features within images in a matter of seconds.

4. Which categories are available for browsing on lenso.ai?
After uploading an image to lenso.ai, the search starts, and the results are sorted into categories:
- Places - similar landscapes, buildings, or locations
- People* - same people in different environments; face search made for tracking digital footprint
- Duplicates - duplicates of the uploaded image, as well as edited, cropped, or filtered versions of it; allows to look up the original version of an altered or edited picture
- Similar - images that are similar to the uploaded image but not necessarily duplicates; photos with a similar layout or content; pictures and graphics that look alike
- Related - images that are related to the uploaded image but not necessarily visually similar; photos that are correlated with the original image

5. How to use lenso.ai for image search?
- Open lenso’s main page and upload the image.
- On desktop: Paste the image with ctrl+v, or click on the upload button to upload it from your computer.
- On phone: Upload the image from your gallery, or take a new picture.
- Choose the category Check what images you can find in each category and expand the one you like the most by clicking “Show more”.
- Open the image you like the most If there’s only one source, you will see the link to the image right below it. Right-click on desktop or hold the image on mobile to see all the options. Click on the image to open it in a new tab, or click the link below the image to open the source. If there are a few sources, click See all to open more options. Choose the image icon to open the image in a new tab, or click any link next to the image to see a specific source.
6. How does lenso.ai search for images?
Lenso.ai automatically analyzes and indexes billions of images that are available on public websites, pages that do not require logging in and sites that allow robots.txt files.
7. How to filter images on lenso.ai?
On lenso.ai, you can filter by:
- Text - search by keywords; upload a blue mug and try the keyword “red” to find red mugs; use only English phrases
- Website - search only on a specific website by providing its URL
Choose the funnel icon to open filters.
8. How to sort results?
Sorting options on lenso include:
- Newest/Oldest - sort pictures based on the date of indexing
- Best/Worst match - sort based on how well the image matches the pictures in the index
- Random - sort randomly for more diverse results
- Show diverse results - find the same people or places in different arrangements.
To sort results, expand the category with Show more, then click the Sort button.
9. My picture can’t be uploaded. What can I do?
Make sure your image meets all the requirements:
- Format: JPG, PNG, WEBP
- Size: up to 5 MB
- Dimensions: minimum 200x200 px

10. What browsers are recommended for lenso.ai?
Lenso.ai opens and works with all popular browsers such as Google Chrome, Firefox, Microsoft Edge, Opera, Safari. In case of any troubles, make sure that your browser is up-to-date.
11. Can I use lenso.ai on my phone?
Yes, lenso.ai’s website is compatible with all of the most popular mobile browsers, such as Google Chrome, Safari, Samsung Internet, Firefox, Opera. There is no need to download any apps to use it.
12. Can I receive email alerts about new search results?
We are currently working on this feature, and it’s coming soon!
13. Can I export the image results on a CSV file?
In order to export all results from one category to CSV, open the category and click the Export button in the right corner.
You can export results with the Professional plan only!
14. Can I find pictures that were edited or filtered?
Yes, Lenso is able to find the original of an edited image, as well as an edited version of the images you upload. For best results, use the “duplicates” category.
15. Can I share my search results?
Yes, with lenso.ai, you can generate a link and share your search results for a month after the search was made.
16. How to add pictures to Collections?
Collections on lenso allow users to create multiple folders within their profile and save any image results that they find. If you want to add images to Collections, remember to create an account.
For single images
- Search for any image on lenso.ai.
- Right-click on the image you’d like to save or click on the three dots on the picture to open the collection pop-up.
- Choose an existing collection or make a new one.
- Your image is saved!
For images with multiple sources
- Search for any image on lenso.ai.
- Click on the three dots on the picture to open the collection pop-up - this way you’ll save all the sources to your collection.
- Click “See all” to see the option of saving every image separately, as well as saving them all at once.
- To save a single image, choose the bookmark next to the specific link. To save all of them at once, choose the bookmark under “Add the whole group to Collections:”.
- Choose an existing collection or make a new one.
- Your images are saved!
