What is Pimeyes?
Pimeyes is a website used for facial search. It uses facial recognition and reverse image search technology to find images of people online. It can be used in various cases, such as:
- police investigations
- tracking your digital footprint
- private investigative work
- searching for people online
Pimeyes used to be the only technology for reverse face search, but times have changed. Nowadays, there are plenty of facial search apps and websites online. We will share our top picks in this article.
Lenso.ai
Lenso.ai is a relatively new technology that appeared on the market around 2024. It has grown in popularity ever since as the best alternative to pimeyes. Despite its young age, the databases of photos it contains is vast, and its facial recognition is just as good as Pimeyes’.
Moreover, lenso.ai offers many features that Pimeyes doesn’t have.
Reverse Image Search
Lenso.ai offers more than just face search. You can look for copies of photos or similar images using lenso.ai’s general reverse image search.
Research Mode
If there are not enough of your photos online, you can try the Research Mode. Research mode lets you search deeper, finding images that could potentially be a match.

…and more:

Eyematch.ai
Eyematch.ai is a brand-new platform for facial recognition. It finds many photos in a short time span, ranging from the best matches to images of similar people.
Eyematch is a bit slower than other facial search tools, but it finds images that are more obscure and matches that are less similar. It’s worth trying out in place of Pimeyes!

How Reverse Image Search Catches Stolen Before-and-After Photos in Home Service Marketing
